Hailing from the town of Tajpur in Bihar's Samastipur district, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was born on March 27, 2011. His cricketing journey began at the remarkable age of four, heavily guided by his father, Sanjiv, who also harbored dreams of playing the sport at a professional level.
Training & Dedication
Recognizing his son's natural flair for the game, Sanjiv enrolled an eight-year-old Vaibhav at the GenNex Cricket Academy in Patna. This required immense dedication, as the father-son duo regularly traveled nearly 100 kilometers every alternate day just to attend practice sessions.
Under the watchful eye of his childhood coach, Manish Ojha, Vaibhav quickly stood out as an exceptionally fast learner.
Inspiration & Idol
Today, the young and promising talent draws a lot of his inspiration from his idol, the legendary West Indian batsman Brian Lara.
